my number one tip if you’re ever feeling down about yourself is to do more things that scare you or make you feel uncomfortable! QUICK LOW CALORIE APPLE PIE 🥧 swipe left ⬅️ to see the filling 😋 . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ INGREDIENTS: 🥧 1 weightwatchers (or any wrap) wrap . 🥧 butter @frylighthq . 🥧 1/2 cooking apple peeled and chopped . 🥧 1 tsp cinnamon . 🥧 sweetener to taste . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ METHOD: 1. In a microwaveable bowl, place the chopped apple with a tbsp water and the cinnamon 2. cover with cling film and cook for 2-3 minutes until it’s soft, but not too much like purée 3. spray a wrap with frylight and fill half with the cinnamon apple mixture 4. spray the edges of the wrap and fold the wrap, sticking the edges 5. get a fork and crimp the edges 6. spray with more frylight and cook at 180 degrees for 15 - 20 mins until golden & crispy! . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Sorry i’ve been so absent recently with recipes, i have however planned lots of yummy things to make in the next couple of weeks ☺️ please comment any requests below! SWEET POTATO TOAST - don’t knock it until you try it 👊🏼 swipe LEFT ⬅️ for yolk porn 🤤. I topped mine with a poached egg, ham & smashed peas n beans in a low kcal dressing . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ INGREDIENTS: * 120g sweet potato . * 50g each of green beans and petit pois . * 30g alpro yoghurt . * 1/2 lemon juice . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ METHOD: 1. heat oven upto 200 degrees 2. cut the sweet potato and chop into 1cm slices 3. cover in salt & pepper & @frylighthq and cook for 25 mins until crispy 4. meanwhile, in a pot boil the peas and beans 5. when they’re cooked, mash and then season. Add the yoghurt and lemon juice. 6. Poach the egg for 2-3 mins 7. Layer the sweet potato with the ham and top with the beans & egg . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A really quick and tasty lunch/dinner/breakfast idea! one of my current favourites 🤤 hope you all have a fab weekend ❤️🌈

hey everyone 💖 gonna give you a mini life update... ok so i’ve been struggling a lot recently with how i look and i know it doesn’t come across on my insta at all but i genuinely have a mini break down every time i have photos taken 🙈 I’m just going to be honest, but growing muscle is hard. Mentally. Especially as a female. So i’ve decided as from Monday (i can’t start this week as i’ve got a couple of celebrations) i am doing a mini cut. This will probably be around 4 weeks and yes i do have a goal 🥅 I’m not doing it to become shredded, just to feel happier & better in myself. I know how i feel & this negativity which keeps overcoming me needs to stop 😭🙅🏼‍♀️ Anyways, i just thought i would share this all with you incase any of you feel the same! Instagram is definitely either my best friend or my worst enemy at the moment and i feel a lot of you probably can relate to this? love you all loads for supporting me day in and out, it literally makes me a v happy bunny 🐰😌🌈 El x

Note to self: a weekend full of alcohol, late nights & unhealthy food is not the best workout fuel 🙃 haha i definitely felt the effects of this weekend in today’s session 🙈 but it happens and it was definitely worth it! I’m making a conscious effort to get up early this week and get my workouts in early. I find if i leave it until the end of the day it makes it so hard to actually get myself to the gym 🙆🏼‍♀️ I’m definitely a morning gym person! What are you?? hope you’ve all had a good start to the week 😌💖

FLOURLESS VEGAN PROTEIN COOKIES 🍪 the secret? 👉🏼 chickpeas & @hipronutrition peanut butter. I was a bit apprehensive about how these would taste/turn out, but they definitely exceeded all my expectations! . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ INGREDIENTS: 🍪 1 can chickpeas drained 🍪 1/4 cup maple syrup 🍪 1 scoop @missfitsnutrition vanilla vegan protein . 🍪 Sweetener to taste 🍪 Vegan white chocolate chunks (or you can use normal white chocolate) 🍪 Almond milk (until it’s a cookie dough consistency!) . 🍪 1/2 cup @hipronutrition peanut butter . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ METHOD: 1. Blitz all of the ingredients except the chocolate chips in a blender (i used @beko vacuum blender). 2. Add almond milk so it is the right consistency 3. Add the chocolate chips 4. Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes until soft but golden . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Hi-pro peanut butter has the best consistency for these cookies! (and it’s high in protein - bonus 😌). You can buy it from all Sainsbury’s supermarkets! Hope you’ve all had a restful Sunday 💖

MUSCLE GAIN FOOD DIARY INSPO 📔 swipe LEFT ⬅️ for a typical day of eating . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Currently i’m eating to fuel my sessions as i’m trying to get stronger and build some muscle. I’ve probably been eating this many calories for 2-3 months now and i can definitely see differences in my body! . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I would be lying if i said i felt completely comfortable at the moment, but I haven’t had anything to aim for aesthetically and i’ve actually enjoyed eating lots of food without tracking a single calorie. So when i’ve got something to aim for i will probably diet down abit (just so i feel more comfortable 😌) . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I used to assume most food (that wasn’t a vegetable or fruit) was bad for you and i never understood why fitness people ate so much protein 🙈 but oh how that has changed now! . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you’re looking to build some muscle my top tip would be to eat a high protein diet, enough carbs to fuel your workouts & lots of healthy fats. Don’t be afraid to eat, your body needs the energy ❤️

Happy FriYAY 🌈 thank you to all of you who asked me questions for my Q&A! I’ve just finished filming it and i will edit it tonight ready to post on Sunday 💖 hope you all have a lovely weekend, I’m off to London for uni 🤓 I did a quick upper body session this morning as that’s all i had time for, but i’m so glad i did because i felt so good for it! High protein egg bake 😋 perfect for meal prep! INGREDIENTS: (serves 4) . 🍳 6 eggs & 6 egg whites . 🍳 200ml almond milk . 🍳 200g mushrooms . 🍳 100g kale . 🍳 2 spring onions . 🍳 6 low fat sausages (i got mine from @musclefooduk - they’re very lean and tasty 😋) 🍳 120g low fat cottage cheese . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ METHOD: 1. fry the sausages until cooked then chop into little pieces 2. In an oven proof dish, spray with @frylighthq , then fill with the kale, mushrooms & spring onions 3. In a bowl combine the eggs, egg whites, almond milk, cottage cheese & salt/pepper 4. Add the sausages to the oven proof dish and then cover in the egg mixture 5. cook at 180 degrees for 20 minutes and then grill for 5 minutes so that the top goes crispy! . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’ve been loving seeing all your recipe recreations lately 😍 thank you so much and please keep tagging me ☺️❤️
